With a diverse background comprising of media sales, event management and sports advertising, Darren has utilised the disciplines that ensure success in an ever evolving and challenging market. Darren’s sales career has similarly evolved and his experience has taken him to China, where he has facilitated international trade conferences in partnership with the Chinese Government, to negotiating multi year sponsorship contracts for Super Rugby Franchises. His early career in sales was spent promoting top level Keynote Address Speaking Opportunities and managing event scheduling before he moved to a Senior Sales and Business Development management role with a global sports marketing consultancy that specialised in creating media and marketing campaigns. With a quest for the challenge, Darren set out to pursue a recruitment career that has seen him enjoy success with boutique and large multinationals alike. It was the opportunity to discover, understand and specialise in the FMCG market that has ensured this challenge remains. Darren has worked as a senior consultant specialising in Accounting and Finance roles for global recruitment companies. With success in securing positions from National Account Manager to Financial Controller, from Analyst to Brand Manager, Darren has developed an impressive network of consumer clients and candidates across the industry spectrum. He seeks to increase his visibility to senior executives and offer an informed perspective and mature approach to the careers of the leaders of tomorrow. We welcome Darren to the Mondo Search team where he will specialise mainly in Accounting, Finance and Commercial Marketing within the FMCG, liquor and other global consumer sectors. Living on the Northern Beaches, Darren indulges his love of surfing, his passion for football and the soap opera that is Leeds United.
