Deborah Blott Accounts/Public Relations Manager P: 1300737917 E: deborah@mondosearch.com.au With a background in Event Organisation, Public Relations and Office Management, Deborah joined Mondo Search in October 2000 as the Public Relations and Operations Manager. In her role Deborah provides executive assistance to the Director, works closely with the principal consultants, co-ordinates events and generates public relations for the business. Deborah is also responsible for the management of the accounts and finances for various divisions, the preparation of monthly reports and submission of tenders. Deborah's early career was spent in the wine industry. As Sydney Sales Office Manager for Tyrrell’s Wines, she managed all aspects of the sales office, organising promotions and assisting the area managers in their roles. Deborah then moved into the public relations and promotions area of Tucker Seabrook (now Fine Wine Partners) where she was responsible for the co-ordination of all events, dinners and trade shows for this prestige wine, beer and spirit company. Deborah worked closely with the late Judith Hirst and gained invaluable skills and knowledge in the public relations and promotions area for the wine and liquor industries. Deborah managed the public relations and promotions for many high profile brands such as Champagne Bollinger, Grolsch, Teacher’s Scotch Whisky, Grand Marnier and Campari plus many recognised Australian wine brands such as Petaluma, Henschke, Brokenwood and Taltarni. In her role as co-ordinator for The Institute of Masters of Wine she gained an appreciation and knowledge of wine. During her career Deborah has completed additional training courses in public relations and computer training including MYOB accounting. She is also a Justice of the Peace. A keen interest in the area of Human Resource consulting led Deborah to join the Mondo Search team where she is always seeking to develop further her skills in human resources as well as public relations. Deborah has also assisted the Wine Communicators of Australia with the management of membership lists, events, lectures and functions for this group of winemakers, marketers, educators and media – all sharing their love of wine.
